She was one of the fashion world's first mega supermodels.
And Christy Turlington proved she has maintained her supermodel status throughout the years, as she fronted the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar.
The stunner, 55, looked nothing short of sensational in the new shoot, in which she displayed her age-defying looks by going braless in a number of looks.
One striking image saw Christy display her perky cleavage in a plunging number while she contorted into a seductive pose, while the cover image featured the stunner in a tan-coloured lace bodysuit - with nothing underneath.
The quinquagenarian looked phenomenal for the shoot, which was accompanied by an interview in which she discussed her continued work as a model as well as the strife her son suffered over nude images from her heyday.

She showcased her endless legs in staggering heels and a dress with slits at the legs and up to the hips
Far from just her figure defying her 55 years, Christy's fresh-faced image showed how she is turning back the years since her modelling debut.
One incredible shot saw Christy don lace tights and a taupe polo neck, while she paired the look with wraparound sunglasses and sky-high heels.
While Christy maintains her work as a model, she is dedicated to her role at Every Mother Counts - and organisation has worked to improve access to maternal care in Guatemala, Haiti, Bangladesh, Tanzania and the United States.
Discussing her approach to modelling these days, Christy said: 'I can do a day here and there. But then, two days, I'm like, 'Too much. It's too much.'
'I feel lucky to have the option [to model]. It's still my livelihood.'
Having soared to fame as one of the 'original supermodels' of the Nineties, she detailed the contrast of shows - for fashion giants including Chanel, Versace, and Valentino - during her heyday with the likes of Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer.
She regaled: 'The shows always felt a little like chaos. I think we, as models, will hold some of that energy and that tension, and it's not peaceful in a lot of those spaces.'

Elsewhere in the interview, Christy revealed that a nude photo snapped during her heyday was circulated among her 18-year-old son's high school peers when she attended one of his basketball games.
She heartbreakingly confessed that 'all [she] wanted to do was disappear' when she learned that the opposing team had bullied her son, Finn Burns, by passing around her nude photo from an old shoot.
She said: 'I was surprised it hadn't happened sooner. But at the same time, I was like, "This is so rude!"'.
The runway legend recounted the incident during her recent photoshoot for the cover of Harper's Bazaar, which marks her 14th collaboration with the magazine.
She noted that the school later got involved in the scandal, adding 'I don't feel embarrassed about anything. Regretting things is a waste of time.'
Christy famously posed nude in a memorable 1995 photoshoot for Vogue Magazine.
The cover model has been married to actor and director Ed Burns, since 2003 and they are the parents of two children, Grace, 20, and Finn, 18.

In the recent interview, the supermodel shared that it was her child who suggested she disable comments on her Instagram posts.
'I don't have my comments on. My daughter told me to do that a couple years ago. I'm really happy that I don't [have to see the comments],' she said.
'I can't say that I'm Teflon. I'm sure if I did read something that was pointed or mean, it would hurt me in the same way. But I also try not to give that much attention to any of it.'
She admitted that she's a 'shy person' as she said, referring to her photo shoots: 'I like a quiet set. If I hear any dance music or techno music, I want to flee.'
'Being a person who is quiet and studies people, I think I learned how to not stand out. My mom never said, like, "Oh, here's how you're going to protect yourself." I think I just really paid attention, honestly,' she added.
A more conservative look came in the form of over-sized trousers and a jacket
